Ruth will also speak about her own work and introduce PAR+RS and how it can be used. About the artist: Ruth Barker is a text-based artist based in Glasgow, whose practice involves performance, drawing, and work in the public realm. Some of her work is more public than others. Her practice explores the role of the artist in contemporary society, asking questions of mortality and language through the structures of poetry, myth, and markmaking. |
