Malcolm Hosie graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2004 with a BA (Hons) Sculpture. He is working towards a Master of Fine Art in Sculpture at Edinburgh College of Art and is also teaching art at the College.

2005 - Commissioned to design and manufacture large sculptural gates in Mid Calder, West Lothian
2005 - Commissioned to make two light sculptures in Leith, Edinburgh

Projects

 

2005 - Main Contractor and Fabricator, New Republic Project [“The New Republic Project” was a project headed up by artist Paul Carter for St. John’s Hospital in Livingston. Part of the brief was to work closely with the patients of the children’s ward and the artist to create a utopian hideaway within a disused site on the hospital grounds].
2001 - Main Contractor, “An Turas” Project [“An Turas” was a collaborative project between artists and architects to create a sculptural viewing platform on the island of Tiree. Winner of the RIAS best building in Scotland award and short-listed for the Sterling prize].
